הלילה זה קורה: בין האזעקות - דפיקה של תקווה בדלת

אח יקר,

השנה, קולות הפורים מתערבבים בקולות המלחמה. בזמן שבחוץ נשמעים הדי הפיצוצים והאזעקות שמקפיצים את הלב, בתוך מאות בתים בעיר נשמע רעש אחר, שקט ומאיים הרבה יותר: השקט של המחסור.

בעוד שעות ספורות ייכנס פורים. בכל רחבי העיר כבר נשמעים שירי שמחה ומשלוחי מנות עוברים מיד ליד, ובמטבח של 'עזרת אחים' האורות דולקים כבר שעות ארוכות. מאות סעודות נארזות באהבה, נחתמות ונשלחות תחת המתיחות הביטחונית לבתים של חולים ומשפחות מתמודדות – כדי שגם שם ירגישו פורים.

עבור המשפחות הללו, המלחמה שבחוץ היא רק תזכורת כואבת לכך שהן נשכחו מאחור. הן לא מבקשות ניסים גדולים, הן רק מייחלות לרגע שבו תונח מנה חמה ומכובדת על השולחן שלהן.

יש עדיין רשימות שמחכות. יש דלתות שעדיין לא נקשנו עליהן, כי חסר לנו המימון למנה הבאה.

זו השעה האחרונה להכניס אור לתוך המתיחות של המלחמה
