Safe, halachically approved transportation for women in labor

Going into labor on Shabbat can be complicated. How to get to the hospital quickly and safely, while
respecting Shabbat observance? What acts are allowed to be done because of the urgent medical
necessity, and what aren’t?
Ezrat Achim’s Shabbat Ambulance solves this issue, by enabling expectant mothers to travel to the
hospital swiftly, securely, and in full accordance with halachah.

Our Shabbat Ambulance service is:

Available throughout Shabbat – In case of need, simply call 053-317-7101, and the ambulance will come pick you up.
For expectant mothers only – The service is exclusively for women who require urgent transportation for childbirth.
Halachically approved – The ride is conducted by a non-Jewish driver under strict rabbinic supervision, minimizing any Shabbat desecration to the absolute halachic minimum.
Based on availability – While every effort is made to respond promptly, the ambulance may already be on another call.
