Who We Help?

The Elderly
Patients and Their Families
Women After Birth

When a family is facing a medical crisis, preparing food is the last thing they are capable of — yet a
home-cooked nourishing meal is exactly what they need most.
Whether it is a family dealing with illness or some other challenge, an elderly or disabled person who
finds it difficult to prepare their own meals, or a new mother after birth, Ezrat Achim’s hot meal service
is literally a lifeline.
Dedicated volunteers prepare hundreds of meals each day in our special Chesed Kitchen, customizing
the food according to each family’s needs. These fresh, delicious meals are then delivered directly to
their homes.
For Shabbat and holidays, we prepare full seudahs, which include fish, soup, a main course, and sides –
ensuring every person can enjoy a festive family meal with dignity.
